St Benedict

On JULY 11th the Church celebrates the life of St BENEDICT, the patron Saint of Europe and Students.

This is perhaps the perfect time for such a patron to be remembered. There is a great deal of uncertainty for Europeans, especially Britons as we anticipate the response to the recent referendum result. A similar uncertainty is experienced by all year 11 and 13 students, as they await the results to their examinations.

We ask St Benedict for his prayers at this time for both Europe and all students, that they may have peace in uncertain times and hope for the future. St Benedict: Pray for us.

Pray: Think of a student awaiting results or a European that you know and say a little prayer for them today.
