As our day contains less routine, the habits of prayer and meditation become so much more important for our spiritual and mental health. If you’re new to prayer – or just need something simple that you can do whilst home-schooling – try this 2-MINUTE MORNING PRAYER! Start with a moment of silence to calm yourself. Count 10 breaths, and as you do recognise that God is with you, and looking upon you with love. Think about your day ahead, and tell God what you hope to achieve and anything that concerns you. Thinking about what you need from God today pray Our Father… Now think if there’s anyone you know who may need God’s help in a particular way today, pray for them and ask Our Blessed Mother Mary to pray for them too by praying Hail Mary… If there is a particular saint for the day (see, or a patron saint connected to your day’s activities, or the needs of those who need help, ask them to pray for you too. Finish by offering the day to God for His glory by praying Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, in now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
