For many pupils and staff the Christmas holidays provided a well deserved rest and time of joy and celebration in their households. However, there are many for whom this was not the case. There are always pupils and families for whom the break has not been easy. Many families experienced division and conflict, whereas some may have suffered a bereavement. This ‘season of togetherness’ may only serve to highlight the separated-ness of their reality. Let us pray with a special intention for those for whom the Christmas break has been a time of sadness. We pray that they know the love and support of this community as we ask the Blessed Virgin Mary as one family to pray for us us: Hail Mary…
